What special people mothers are
We love them one and all
Their strength they give in raising us
They teach us how to fall
For life is full of bumps and pain
With hidden stumbling blocks
And mothers wash away the tears
And in their arms we’re rocked
Throughout your life these blocks appear
And mothers love is there
Prepared to ease the load you fear
With all her love and care
Now show your children of this love
Its your turn now to give
You’re teaching others how to fall
Thus strengthen them to live
So through the generations past
A mothers love has grown
And down through each and every child
This love has since been shown
