"Bells of Spring"

"Bells of Spring"
The wind is howling like as not
The rain will soon be here
But oh what joy a thunderstorm
With all her noise is near
With brilliant lights and thunderbolts
She’ll flash across the sky
And leave behind the scent of spring
The earth will heave a sigh
For winters washed away at last
With all her grim design
And colors now will splash across
Each fence and hill they climb
So listen to the howling wind
Remember now its goal
To bring to life the earth again
The bells of spring must toll
